The Encyclopedia of Disney Animated Shorts
Clara Cluck

Clara Cluck Clara Cluck's history at Disney was all too brief. A case could be made that her first appearance was as "The Litte Red Hen" as both characters were voiced by the same person, Florence Gill. And there is more than just a passing physical resemblance. She had a brief appearance as part of the audience in "Mickey's Mellerdrammer." However, by the time she made her big debut in the first "Orphan's Benefit" she had changed into an oversized operatic diva; a role that she would continue right up to the end. Her last major appearance was as one of the musicians in "Symphony Hour." One curious thing though; she is seen in the rehearsal scenes at the beginning but not in the performance scenes at the end. You don't suppose something awful happened to her in Goofy's elevator accident, do you?
