Only today upon writing this review have I learned the name of the short, until now, I've called it the "JJ fate safety film."
JJ fate (A little dude, kinda like a small dwarf), show us the ways we can end up having accidents in the home. And what better person to show us, than Donald Duck.
In this rather brutal yet outright hilarious short, we see Donald...
Dodge a falling piano, fall from a rocking chair while trying to hang a painting, try to use an electric shaver in the bathtub, try to stick a knife in a live toaster, overload electrical appliances and plugs, use flammable cleaning liquid near a stove, ignite an explosion from neglecting a gas leak, burn his hand over an element, fall down the stairs (7 times), burn his backside on a heater, slip on an unfastened rug... and slip on a bar of soap (twice).
This short is fantastic in it's visual comedy. if you love seeing Donald learn things the hard way, this will go down a treat.
"An awkward attitude, by an inattentive, accident prone individual" - JJ Fate, referring to Donald.
I'm no fool could of very well been the inspiration for these cartoons. J.J. Fate takes the place of Jiminy Cricket and Donald represents the "Comman Ordinary Fool" in these two hilarious cartoons.
I have seen "How to Have an Accident in the Home" and would like to
