The Encyclopedia of Disney Animated Shorts
Commercial Shorts

Gaining experience by it's experience producing World War 2 short, Disney also created quite a few commercial shorts for various companies, including Nabisco, General Electric, and Dow Chemical. The following is a list of all we've been able to find. It is assumed that most of these were animated, but specifics on most are unknown at this time.

1942
Four Methods of Flush Riveting (produced for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, distributed by National Film Board of Canada)

From Jerry Edwards : The entire film is animated, showing how to rivet an airplane so that the rivets are flat to the surface to avoid turbulence caused by raised areas on the aircraft's skin. Created for Lockheed Aircraft and the National Film Board of Canada, this is very important historically as Walt Disney's "pilot" to show how effective animation could be used in training films.
