Comments

From Jerry Edwards : Donald Duck flying into a rage over various problems such as a woodpecker and an uncooperative hammock gets tiresome very quickly. Just not that funny or interesting to me.
From Ryan : This short was okay, but I guess I wouldn't call it one of my favorites. This has some connections to Donald's later short Cured Duck where Donald has to take a machines insult for 10 minutes in order to pass the test. The animation from the beginning sequence of this short was used in the propaganda short Donald's Decision.
From Baruch Weiss : Aside from a beautiful music score during the title presentation, this cartoon did not interest me. I agree with Ryan that this short has some connection with Donald's later short Cured Duck. I also find it odd that Disney did not delete the scene where Donald goes into his house and garners his gun, not even an intro from Leonard Maltin on The Chronological Donald before the cartoon. Anyway, as I stated above I did not care much for this short, but it would do well in anger management classes. Even Katie Ka-Boom could learn a thing or two.
