From Lee Suggs : We start this week off with some great sight gags as Max shares with us the cars of the stars. (We see a "Monstro" truck, Cinderella's Coach/Pumpkin, Herbie, Benny the Cab and a certain Mr. Toad goes on a new "Wild Ride".) All this causes Max to realize that he'd really like a car of his own. We next see the typical American's new car experience : Mickey's New Car.

After the short Minnie asks what happened to Mickey's new car. (It disappeared in the short.) Mickey is thankful he never saw the beast again. This is of course Max's cue to discover the car in the HOM's parking lot. He hops in, "just for a look", and nearly gives Droopy Dog (you know Roger Rabbit's elevator operator ;o) a chance to be the HOM's valet. Fortunately Max survives, but only after he drives off Thomas O'Malley and the Alleycats. (Bennie the Cab helps with this. :o) Goofy discovers Max's adventure and swears that he will never buy his son a car. Meanwhile Professor Ludwig Von Drake is giving car improvement tips using Mickey's "old car", to which he has attached a rocket very much like the one Sid attached to Buzz Lightyear. Unfortunately for the Professor Mr.Toad decides to check out the car's improved performance. We'll see the Professor and the Toad later. For now we have another cartoon : Car Washers.

The episode ends with Max sharing a story about his Dad to make up for running off the Alleycats. It turns out Max has some "home video" of Goofy's "Wild Ride" past. (These are actually scenes from special shorts Disney made for a AAA good driver program. Its great to see part of these wonderful cartoons again.) This expose of his past shames Goofy into giving Max his own personal parking spot. (Being Goofy he forgets his son doesn't have a car. LOL) Fornately Mr. Toad crashes Mickey's old car into Max's spot, and Goofy buys it for Max. We fade out to an ad for "Supercalifragiliticexpialiclous Car Insurance" which no one in the HOM could find in the phone book, (It is hard to spell!) otherwise they could have used bought some before this episode.

This week really was a "Wild Ride".
