Disney Television : Walt Disney Presents

Some of the shorts showed up on the old anthology series.While they were on TV, they went by various names; "Disneyland", "Wonderful World of Color", "Wonderful World of Disney" and etc. However, instead of being shown separately as they are on "The Ink and Paint Club" they were usually edited together as part of a compete show.

Adventures in Color

The complete program includes "Donald in Mathmagic Land."

Adventures in Fantasy

Includes "Johnny Fedora and Bonnie Bluebonnet."

Adventures of Chip 'n' Dale

Chip 'n' Dale become guest hosts when Wat is unable to be there. Cartoons include "Two Chips and a Miss", "Chicken In The Rough", "Donald Applecore", "Chips Ahoy", "Up A Tree" and "The Lone Chipmunks" plus short scenes from "Farmyard Symphony" and "Old Sequoia."

Adventures of Mickey Mouse

Walt Disney looks at the career of his longtime associate Mickey Mouse. Black and white program. Cartoons include "The Band Concert", "Alpine Climbers" and "Squatter's Rights" plus parts of "Mickey and the Beanstalk" from "Fun and Fancy Free."

All About Magic

Walt Disney performs some "trick" magic and introduces the Magic Mirror, who hosts the rest of the show. Black and white program. Cartoons include "Magician Mickey" and "Trick or Treat"

At Home with Donald Duck

A birthday party for Donald serves at the link for a showing of a few shorts including "Donald's Happy Birthday", "Mickey and the Seal", "Foul Hunting", "Pluto's Blue Note", and "Sea Salts."

Baseball Fever

The complete program includes "How to Play Baseball", "Slide, Donald, Slide", "Goofy Gymnastics", "Casey at the Bat", and "Casey Bats Again."

The Coyote's Lament

Walt Disney introduces the coyote's side of his troubles with man and dog. Shorts include "Pests of the West", "Camp Dog", "Primitive Pluto", "Sheep Dog" and "The Legend of Coyote Rock" plus short scenes from "Private Pluto", "A Gentleman's Gentleman", "Springtime For Pluto", "Plutopia", "Mail Dog", and "In Dutch."

A Day in the Life of Donald Duck

Donald Duck's life in the studio is intercut with four shorts, "Drip Dippy Donald", "The Fire Chief", "The Vanishing Private" (deleted from later Disney Channel showings) and "Good Scouts." Shown in black and white.

The Donald Duck Story

Walt Disney introduces the story of the creation of Donald Duck and his later career. Black and white program. Cartoons include "Orphan's Benefit", "Honey Harvester", "Tea For Two Hundred", "Donald's Dream Voice", "Three For Breakfast", and short scenes from "Donald Duck and the Gorilla", "Don's Fountain of Youth", "Lion Around", "Bee at the Beach", "The Lone Chipmunks", and a mixture of scenes from "Donald's Crime" and "How To Be A Detective."

Fourth Anniversary Show

A celebration of the first four years of the "Disneyland" show includes a black and white showing of "Peter and the Wolf."

The Goofy Adventure Story

Goofy's adventures through the ages is told through flashbacks to his ancestors and cartoons : "Californy 'er Bust", "African Diary", "For Whom The Bulls Toil", "Tiger Trouble," and "Father's Lion" plus short scenes from "How To Be A Sailor", "A Knight For A Day", "No Smoking", "The Whalers", and "Tugboat Mickey."

The Goofy Success Story

The story of Goofy's rise to stardom features new animation linking the shorts "Moving Day", "Moose Hunters", "How to Ride a Horse" and "Motor Mania."

How to Relax

Disney sits back and lets Goofy teach us how he relaxes. The complete program includes fragments from "Goofy's Glider", "Home Made Home", "The Spirit of '43", "Foul Hunting", "How to Ride a Horse", "Hawaiian Holiday", "The Art of Skiing" and fairly complete versions of "Hold That Pose", "Hockey Homicide", "Two Weeks Vacation" and "Hello Aloha."

More About Silly Symphonies

Walt Disney explains the background and introduces five Silly Symphonies : "Merbabies" (note: "Water Babies" is introduced with some new animation, but "Merbabies" is the short that is shown), "The Grasshopper and the Ants", "Farmyard Symphony", "Who Killed Cock Robin?" and "Wynken, Blynken and Nod."

On Vacation with Mickey Mouse and Friends

Jiminy Cricket tries to round up the gang when Walt calls on him to put together a show. He finds out that they are all on vacation, but showing how everyone is spending their vacation puts the show together for him. Features the shorts "Canine Caddy", "Bubble Bee", "Goofy and Wilbur", "Dude Duck", "Mickey's Trailer", "Hawaiian Holiday."

The Plausible Impossible

Walt Disney explains how his animators make the impossible seem realistic. The program contains almost complete versions of "Thru the Mirror" and "Donald's Cousin Gus."

The Ranger of Brownstone

The complete program includes some new animation, a few live-action sequences, and at least parts of the following shorts edited into a complete package: Grin and Bear It, In the Bag, Hooked Bear, Rugged Bear, Beezy Bear and Bearly Asleep

The Story of the Animated Drawing

Contains a small snippet of "Steamboat Willie" and an almost completely undedited showing of "The Skeleton Dance."

Your Host, Donald Duck

Donald takes his big chance to host the "Disneyland" show to feature shorts about (who else?), himself. Shorts include "Clown of the Jungle", "Uncle Donald's Ants", "Test Pilot Donald" and "Timber." Shown in black and white.
