From Mad Professor : This contains one of
my all-time favorite cartoon moments. Julius chases a rabbit down a hole
and after he catches the she-rabbit, she tells a tale of woe (with some fellow
hares playing violins in the background) of what would happen to her baby
rabbits without her. The imagined children cry "MAMA!" and Julius begins
to cry and lets her go. After this, our ham-acting hare thumbs her nose and
gives an angry Julius "the raspberry" and hops off into freedom. For some
reason, I've always found this early example of good cartoon character
development touching as well as amusing.
