Comments

From Jerry Edwards : Full of action and gags, although the storyline of the orphans once again being brats is tiresome to me.

From Sam : Even though the short is called "Mickey's Circus", it's really Donald who's at the center of this short, having to share the spotlight with a troup of scene-stealing sea lions and an audience full of those rowdy orphans. I especially enjoyed the scene where Donald is trying to get one of the sea lions to play the horns.

From Baruch Weiss : Isn't it odd that when Disney used to show their old cartoons on TV they found scenes to cut out, but in this cartoon they did not cut Donald firing a gun at a baby seal, Mickeys face turing black as a result of oil on the tightrope and Donald putting a cymble on his head instead of his real hat making him look like a chinise steroype. Well let's jut be thankful that they were shown intact. Anyway back to the short. It really was not that great. Mickey hardly spoke in it except for his introduction for Donald and when Donald went in the cannon he then said "Hey get outta there ya wanna get hurt?"

From Casey : Mickey's Circus is a funny cartoon. Especially when Donald and Mickey get electrocuted by the orphans on the highwire. I like Mickey Mouse cartoons.
