Synopsis
-
Mickey sends Pluto to buy some sausages, not telling them they're a gift
for neighbor pooch Butch - so when the tough bulldog tries to take them,
Pluto defends himself, having no idea what the wursts are really meant to
be used for.

From Ryan : Mickey sends Pluto to buy some
weiners for someone. However, Pluto is not aware that they are for Butch
the bulldog, so he guards the weiners on his way home. Mickey's personality
has become so bland that he has now become a minor character. Okay of a short,
but not one of my favorites.

From Rich : There was a cartoon made by Warner
Bros. (I can't remember the name of it though) that was very similar to this,
but the only difference is the dog who has been given the package is trying
to keep it away from two cats instead of a dog. I also agree with Ryan's
opinion on Mickey during this period, and it's true. His personality was
deteriorating short after short. Looks like Social Darwinism, with it's "survival
of the fittest" slogan, applies to everything, including animated cartoons.
