Comments

Also released in 16mm form under the title "Christmas Capers."

From Dino Cencia : Another Christmas cartoon! My favorite! Christmas time is my favorite time of the year and this Christmas cartoon is great to watch around Christmas time. I love the part when Donald decorates his tree. Also another part I love is when Donald was dressed as Santa Claus and he gives a present to Chip and Dale. A little nut and a big nut (that a gun is hidden that Donald hid) and Chip and Dale opened the gift and Donald has a gun in his hand and tells them to about face and march (in a toy police truck) and Donald tripped the truck and crashed with Chip and Dale. Then Donald puts some nuts in a toy gun and fires at the chipmanks and there's a war! They keep firing and shooting and then Donald gets mad when he's answers the phone and a big boom gets in his ear. Donald puts a stick of dynamite and dials the number to Chip and Dale and lights it but the flame goes out and the phone rings and Donald answers it and the dynamite explodes to Donald. I love this cartoon. I give it a 910. Merry Christmas!

From Baruch Weiss : For one thing the Chipmunks dialog sure stays the same, but nevertheless these cartoons are still great; especially the music and in this one where Dale dons a top hat and cane!
