Synopsis

Chip 'n' Dale wander into a farmyard to collect acorns. Dale mistakes an egg for a nut, but when he tries to demonstrate to a newly hatched chick how to get back into the egg, a rooster mistakes him for one of his chicks.

Parts of the beginning sequence of this short were directly borrowed from 1932's Silly Symphony "Farmyard Symphony."

From Ryan : Although I am not really a Chip and Dale fan, I find this to be an extremely funny short. Chip and Dale are looking for nuts on a farm and Dale goes into the hen house. He sees eggs and thinks they're nuts. When a chick pops out of the egg, Dale tries to put him back in, but then Dale decides he'll go into the egg. The mother hen comes in and sits on the eggs, causing Dale to sweat.

From Baruch Weiss : This time instead of harassing Donald or Pluto the chipmunks are on a farm (thats similar to the farm from "Farmyard Symphony") collecting nuts. Anyway great short. I first saw it on a video titled (appropriately enough) "A Tale Of Two Chipmunks"at my grandparents house.

From Grace : A very funny Chip and Dale short that involves with chickens instead of battiling with Donald, Pluto or Mickey. It has lots of humor inside that will really make you laugh. I recommend this short and Dale next time, please stay out of the chicken house.
