Comments

From Zack613 : This short was Uncle Scrooge's 1st animated app. (except a brief cameo in the Mickey Mouse Club opening animation) it is a shame it could not be better. It is an informational rather the intertaning short. Huey, Dewey and Louie play a role simular to the one they played in the Wonderful World of Disney episodes they were in with with J. Audobon Woodlore.

From Rich : Having grown up with DuckTales in the late-80s and still embracing it's characters well into adult-hood, I can honestly say that seeing this short was a pleasant surprise. Scrooge is beautifully animated by Ward Kimball, who I think DuckTales fans like me owe a lot to the development of his character onscreen. Although Alan Young was a better Scrooge, Bill Thompson does a fine job. It may echo his earlier Trusty from "Lady and the Tramp", but the Scrooge we know is there.

As entertaining as this is, with it's goofy yet catchy tunes (Money's Gotta Circulate), I still prefer DuckTales. Watch this back to back with "Sport Goofy in Soccermania" and I think you'll get a kick out of it.

"One million, two million, three million, FORE!!!"

What I think would've been a really funny idea is to have had the Beagle Boys pop up and try to rob Scrooge's vault (because they're obviously poor) and Scrooge includes them in his lecture until the end when the cops show up. A bit complicated perhaps, but hey, I'm an animator and I need to think of these things!
