Comments

From Rohan : I just loved this short. This was originally included in the actual A.A. Milne book. Eeyore is a cute guy, but he is a whiner.

From Michelle I. : Once you have grown up on cartoons such as this, you'll never forget them. A Day for Eeyore features the unforgettable game of Pooh Sticks on the bridge over the river, after all. Beautiful, wonderful cartoon!

From Trae Robinson : I have this cartoon on video tape. Tigger is my favorite character on here and he is voiced by voice artist Paul Winchell. I liked Pooh and Rabbit's voices later on "The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh."

From Baruch Weiss : This is a unique Pooh short because it lacks the original voice cast and has new people doing the voices for characters such as Pooh who, I think, is voiced by Jim Cummings!

From Bryan Hensley : In case you're wondering, Pooh was voiced by Hal Smith this time around. Jim Cummings wouldn't play his voice for another 5 years! I remember seeing more than once that this Pooh featurette from 1983 was integrated into The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! I finally got to see it in its entirety in 2002 when The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh became a 25th anniversary edition VHS and DVD! All four original featurettes are in this movie as well as the Friendship Edition from 2007! Pooh sticks suddenly became a contest in Europe, and it's a friendly one, thank goodness! I hope you enjoy the last original featurette of Pooh and his gang celebrating Eeyore's birthday! It sure does prove something about recycling; an empty honey pot can be good for keeping anything in it. If you thought Pooh's spelling was wobbly, look at what Owl wrote on the pot! Many happy returns of your own special day, everybody! (As in your birthday!)
