Comments

This short played ahead of the film, "A Far Off Place."
-
From Jason Schirle : The last Roger Rabbit
short to be released theatrically, this short is packed with several goofy
sight-gags that are only visible when paused or still framed on video or
laserdisc. These momentary '2 frame cameos' include apppearances by Mickey
Mouse, Tinkerbell and Evinrude (from The Rescuers), references to Splash
Mountain, and a risque advertisement for saw blades featuring a Jessica-like
model.
-
From jimmymac : This is one of the best animated
shorts starring Roger Rabbit that was created, but sadly it was the last,
maybe his adventures will resurface someday. I give this cartoon a 10. However,
I noticed a few things changed or altered from the video version to the DVD
version. They are small changes, probably even not worth mentioning, but
changes nevetheless. I loved the tons of inside jokes the animators included
within frames throughout the entire cartoon, but one change kind of bothers
me, the scene where the trio are about to ride the log down the flume, there
is a close up on Baby Herman, (there are Mickeys in his eyes) then Roger
(there are skull and crossbones in his eyes.) The DVD version does not have
the Roger eye gag. Why not? Another change is right before this scene where
there is a poster of a model on a saw that is blurred.
-
From Mr. Penguin : Strange joke: wanted poster
of little boy ... I give this cartoon a 6 out of ten.
-
From Baruch Weiss : While parts of this cartoon
can be side splitting, I don't care for the part where a beehive lands on
Roger's head.
-
From Austin Long : I love this short. I love the beaver, and his oblivious nature. I think this is a greatly done masterpiece. 10 out of 10
