Comments
-
From Patrick Malone : A fairly bland outing.
Of all the "gag cartoon" shorts, this series has the best shot at becoming
innocuous filler unless they take the step of giving Minnie more of a personality
than is shown here. In this short, she is up another little instrument as
in "William Tell Overture" but to less extravagant effect.
It seems to me that they can go two different ways with this series. Either
let the rest of the orchestra go completely beserk and see what happens,
or accentuate the more artistic aspects of it (ala the bach sequence in
"Fantasia") which are actually quite good. As it is, they seem to be trying
to mix the two and for me, at least, it's not working.

From J. D. Weil : Minnie chases another rebel
instrument around the orchestra; this time it's a violin. Is this how the
series is going to run?
-
From David Gonterman : The more I see these
shorts, the more I like them. I'm even beginning to see that Maestro Tux
as Minnie's answer of the Sailor Fuku. Damage to Minnie: Gets tangled up
by a cello. There's a hentai remark but I won't say it. I don't want to get
a personal taste of Minnie's answer to the Moon Scepter.
I have seen "Maestro Minnie : Hungarian Rhapsody # 6" and would like to
submit a comment on this short
