Comments

From Patrick Malone : Okay, so the animation's good and the gags are cute enough. Still, this series doesn't seem to have any real drama associated with it as you would expect from the title. It's almost as if you know how it's going to turn out in the end, so you don't get as concerned about how you're going to get there. There's no real surprises as they throw a series of stock gags at the screen, but as a whole, they don't seem to adhere together into a complete short; even for a short-short.

From J. D. Weil : 90 seconds of derring-do trying to rescue Minnie from Pete in a fun house arcade. I feel that short would have been better treated if it were a full length character short.

From Juan F. Lara : Mickey the Daring in Pete's Lair? This was a video game instead of a cartoon, featuring nothing but Pete throwing these preposterous dangers at Mickey. I was especially discouraged in finding out that that these "Rescue" shorts start with the same looong scene and are all set in that shabby little building.

From Tom : Better then the last short "Train Tracks", but it was still pretty poor.

From David Gonterman : All this is missing is a joystick and a button! Consider this a good reason to make a Mickey Mouse "Dragon's Lair-style" Video Game, Roy-sama.

I have seen "Mickey to the Rescue : Staircase" and would like to
