Without spoiling
the plots of each, I'll just say that the Donald featurette has appearances
by Chip'n Dale, Scrooge, Daisy and a new relative who only "reminds me" of
Belle Duck (not that I suspect she is Belle), but looks as though she could
be Gus Goose's mother! She's only called "Aunt Gertie"
by the Nephews. The stars of this short, of course, are Donald, and his nephews:
Huey, Dewey and Louie. The boys have their "Ducktales" voices, as provided
by Russi Taylor, rather than their Nash-speak ones. Overall, I give this
cartoon a great big 9 on a scale of 1-10. It lost one point because I think
it dragged a little too long after it finally made its intended point. Donald
and the Nephews are totally "in character" in this tale! Of course, I am
contrasting these to the stuff we've been seeing in MouseWorks.
