From Lee Suggs : This is a GREAT short! Mickey
buys a fax machine, and then runs into Mortimer. Mortimer of course makes
fun of him, and infuriates Mickey. Mickey then goes home and faxes Mortimer
a nasty note. (Is Mortimer officially a rat? Mickey calls him one several
times here.) Then he faxes Minnie a love note. Unfortunately the love note
goes to Mortimer. Meaning the nasty note went to MINNIE! What follows is
Mickey desperatly trying to get the fax away from Minnie before she reads
it. He must fend off a suddenly friendly Mortimer, defeat Pete the purse
snatcher, and keep from getting arrested. All these escapades are very well
done, and the short has an amazing ending that I won't spoil for you.

From Juan F. Lara : This short lasted only
about six minutes. So the script concentrated on just a couple of great gags.
Mortimer got to show a nice side that was different from his usual personality,
but he was still believable, and really funny. Mortimer's plotthread though
quickly ended with a crazy scene where Mickey got the chance to play the
heavy. Having spent just the right amount of time on Mortimer, the makers
then started a purse-snatcher thread that put Mickey in an awkward role as
a thief (whom you could argue got away with stealing ) and led to a funny
confrontation with his other nemesis, Pete. I also liked how they tied that
thread to the fax plotthread unexpectedly.
Both Mortimer's and Pete's threads were hilarious. But this short would still
be worth watching just to catch the last scene's gag.

From Eric Lehmann : That's a FUNNY short!
First up, Mickey buys a new fax machine. Unfortunately, the results are
disastrous. Instead of sending a nice one to Minnie and the nasty one to
Mortimer, it's the other way around. Mickey has to hurry before Minnie reads
the nasty fax. He confronts Pete and nails him. Minnie read the fax and it
turns out...it wasn't the nasty one, nor the nice one! It warned Minnie about
purse snatchers in the city! Meaning that the nasty one is sent to...the
mystery person (whose name I won't mention unless you check out the "secrets"
section).
P. S. Mortimer may be rude, but he is funny!
